1931 Ford Model A I doubt there’s a nicer, more period correct 5 Window Model A Deluxe anywhere. Starting in June of 1931, the fixed rear window of the Coupes was offered in a version in which the glass could be lowered into a well in the rear compartment. This feature was standard on the Deluxe models, but only available at extra cost on the standard coupe. Basically, all Coupes were finished with a trunk; the rumble seat was an optional, extra cost, item. The 1930-1931 Deluxe cars justified a more elaborate luggage carrier than has previously been available, and this new design was brought out by Ford. Made of chrome steel, and with varnished wood strips for added effect, this rack was generally installed with a full width bumper. The low-profile accessory trunk enhances the rear of the Roadster. Investment grade, drives as good as it looks.
